race for a cure

Today some friends and family participated in the Susan G Koman Race for a Cure 5K. Our team walked in honor of Teri L Siems. Teri is the mother of one of our close friends, sadly she passed away less than a month ago from complications due to breast cancer. It was a devastating and unexpected loss. It was amazing to see so many people come together to help support such a good cause. There were over 30,000 participants! Here's a couple of shots of our group.... What do you think of the shirts? I had them made and am SOOO proud of them!

Hey! Looks like everything went well at the Race for a Cure. Cute shirts!

In reference to your comment on my 22 weeks post, yes, that is a wall in our basement. It's our "movie room", that's why the walls are painted black. On another note, you should activate your e-mail so I can respond do your posts more often! :-) Have a great week!

Haha, ok.. You go to edit user profile. Under identity, you put in an e-mail address that you use (you can make a new one if you don't want to use your own personal e-mail). Then, just above there, go to privacy and "show e-mail".

this should allow people who's walls you comment on, to e-mail you back instead of going to your blog to comment to respond. So when you get an e-mail from me, saying that I posted a comment, you read it and then just hit reply and it goes straight to my e-mail. you don't have to go back and comment again on my post.

Does that make sense?

Hmm... So you don't check your comments in your e-mail? You go to blogger to do it? Whenever I get a comment, it goes to my gmail email account and I check it there, then I can hit reply and just write them a quick note back. no biggy if you can't, just thought I'd mention it! :-)
