engagements

this weekend we went to a friend of ours surprise 30th birthday party.  his girlfriend, abbie, worked super hard to put together this shin-dig and invited all of jace's (the bday boy) family from out of state.

so saturday night we all met at the party place and surprised jace! fun right? gets even better though!

about 30 minutes into the night, jace took abbie up in front of everyone to thank us all for coming and especially thank abbie for all of her hard work in organizing the big event...

nice right?

still gets better....

then he says,

"however, the surprise is on you.  all of these people aren't here for my birthday party, they are here for our engagement party"....

gets down on one knee and proposes to her...

don't we all have goosebumps now? ☺

they're such a beautiful couple!

i am blessed to have them as such good friends....

i am so honored to be in their wedding...
