Date Night

Here's my Valentine's Day post that I think we're all "expected" to do. The hubs and I don't normally celebrate V-Day. Aside from the I Love You card and telling each other I Love You. We don't go all out on presents and stuff, we just hang out with each other and our kids. Our reasoning for this? Well, we love each other. And we do it every day, not just on this day. This day is nice for us when we've been busy with life because it reminds us to step back and be thankful for each other.

So this year we decided to actually go out to dinner and a movie. I'm not sure if we did this because it was V-Day weekend or because we were actually able to get a sitter! Either way, we went and ate dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse.... my review... amazing! You MUST try their shrimp & lobster dip, absolutely fabulous! Then after dinner we went and saw Valentines Day. Very good movie! Lots of laughs, and at the end I even got a little teary eyed. (Love me some Julia Roberts!)
