My favorite holiday recipe is monkey bread! We have it once on the 15th for Mike's birthday and then again on Christmas morning. I love the smell of cinnamon filling our house while we unwrap our presents :o)

I'm already a follower! Such a follower.

My favorite recipe is a post-Thanksgiving panini.

Basically you take sourdough bread, top it with stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, turkey, mayo and mustard. Then brush the bread with olive oil and throw it on a griddle. Or if you have a Foreman Grill, this is my fave as it gets nice and crisp and has those fancy panini lines on it that makes it seem authentic.

I love Woman's Day. My mom used to get it and always sent me her old magazines.

Recipe that I just made for peppermint bark

12oz pack of semi sweet choc chips
12oz pack of white choc chips
2 tbs of vegetable oil
candy canes (i use about 6)

cover a cookie sheet with tin foil

melt semi sweet choc chips and 1tbs of oil, I did this for 2 minutes in the microwave, stir in the middle

quickly poor over foil once it's melted and spread out evenly- let cool in the fridge for 30 min (mine took less-you are good to go when it hardens)

do the same step with the white chocolate and add crushed peppermint candy canes on top.

Fridge for 30... then peel off tin foil and break into pieces.

it should make about 25 pieces.
